Katrina was admitted to practise as a solicitor in Hong Kong in 2015. She joined the firm in 2018 and was promoted to partner in 2020. Prior to joining the firm, she studied at Tsinghua University with scholarships and worked at an international firm and a top-tier litigation firm in Beijing and Hong Kong.

Civil and Commercial Litigation

Katrina’s practice centres on commercial litigation and contentious regulatory advisory work. She frequently acts for listed companies, licensed corporations, directors, shareholders, sponsor principals, responsible officers, fund investors, brokers on matters involving insider dealing, false trading, price rigging, false and misleading information, unlicensed activities, shareholder disputes, winding-up petition, breach of directors’ duties, etc.

Professional Negligence and Disciplinary Complaints

Katrina has extensive experience in dealing with complaints against professionals, including but not limited to auditors, accounting firm, securities intermediaries, insurance intermediaries, chiropractors. She frequently represents professionals in their professional disciplinary proceedings.

Beside her practice, Katrina is appointed as the honourable legal advisor, director, and/or the committee member of various institutions and organizations, including but not limited to the Hospital Authority. She is also a lecturer teaching commercial and business law and dissertation supervisor of the Master of Laws.

Katrina regularly speaks at talks and seminars on a variety of legal issues and shares her invaluable experience and insights on the subject of SFC investigation, FRC investigation, anti-money laundering, insider dealing, and other regulatory enforcement.
